Black Cherry Objects

Channeling my inner Cornell. These are commercially-produced black cherry pencil holders intended to accept a 4" x 4" ceramic tile for craft projects. I picked them up from the clearance bin at an online crafts site. I've corrupted them into aesthetic toys for my own amusement and maybe for others' someday. Various original digital images in the recessed spaces meant for tiles, plastic bead jars and buttons attached to vintage pokerchips to create plugs and clear compartments that will slide into the holes made for pencils, and misc. found objects (little surprises). inside. Each is 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 1 3/4".
